Character History
In an alternate timeline to the Lunacy of Duke Venomania, Kachess failed to assassinate the duke. To punish him and not let another body turn up or secret get out, as he had recognized his sloppiness, Venomania used his power to completely erase Kachess' memory and rebuild it from the ground up, making him into a loyal "friend." To completely throw off suspicion, he brought Gumina Glassred up from the basement and brought her to the light of day. The two of them apologized, saying that she had run away to live with him, and in the midst of his familial upheaval and the missing women, they wanted a quiet wedding. It was their mistake, she wasn't really missing, she'd been with him to help ease the grief that was losing his family the entire time.
So Gumina and Sateriajis were married, and from that union was born a daughter: Demetria Venomania. She was an odd child from birth, possessing her father's eyes. Including that glow just beneath the surface. People shrugged it off, thinking it just a trait of the Venomania line, and she became the heiress of Duke Venomania. She grew under her parents' watchful eyes, and from there, she became a proper young lady. However, there were a few incidents that otherwise marred what many would believe an idyllic childhood of the times.
The first was when Demetria was six. At a gala she and her family attended, a boy teased her for her eyes. That night, her father found her in her room, preparing to gouge her eyes out and he had to stop her and hold her as she wept, telling him of the cruel comments. The boy soon after disappeared. Another incident was when she was ten. A servant told her that she should be more ladylike and stop these foolish daydreams of adventure and love. She was, after all, an heiress--she'd never get to go on adventures and she would be married off to the best fit politically. Tria responded by attempting to claw his face off, and her father again had to intervene.
A third and final incident occurred upon her twelfth birthday. She'd gone to the stable alone to see her horse and whisper excitedly about her birthday tradition with her. Her father, every year, would gift her a new book with a flower pressed between the pages. Later that day, just the two of them, they would speak about the flower and its meanings and other interesting botany facts. But this day wouldn't be the day she had planned. A stable boy came across her and kindly asked if she'd like to take a ride on the horse, as it looked like rain was going to roll in later. Excited, she took him up on the offer, and the two went off. However, the storm rolled in faster than either realized and they were forced to take shelter in a small shelter made by some rocks, the poor, frightened girl clinging to the older stable boy. He apologized profusely, as he didn't expect the storm to arrive so quickly, and when he offered to go get help, she clung to him tighter.
He understood and said he'd wait with her until the rain let up enough for them to both race on the horse back to the estate. But time went on and the rain didn't let up, instead growing harsher. And as this continued, Tria began to feel strange. With her body pressed to the boy's for warmth, she felt stirrings of something in her blood, whispering to her. And she began to act on them, not understanding. She pressed closer, in increasingly sensual ways. The stable boy, obviously uncomfortable, asked what was wrong. "I'm lonely... So very lonely..." she whispered, continuing her advances. The stable boy just became increasingly uncomfortable, eventually untangling himself from her. Angry, she reacted by pushing him down and straddling him. He hit his head as he went down and was left dizzy enough for her to overpower him and force him to look her in the eye.
"You will love me and let me do as I please. It's what I want." And he was forced to comply, enchanted by the Bloodlust that had flowed through her veins since birth. She advanced, kissing him and things were getting quite heated. And then, Venomania found them and he was horrified. He quickly took Demetria and carried her back to the home, telling her she was simply sick today. She would stay home and never leave without supervision, she must have some rare disease with the way things had been going. Worried about her health, she would not be leaving until further notice.
And so Demetria began to live a sheltered life, rarely leaving the Venomania estate.
